This course provides additional preparation for the DVSA demo test, offering participants hands-on practice to perfect their routine and demonstrate their skills under DVSA guidelines.

  • Full Day of MOT Routine Training: Participants can take advantage of a full day of training to review MOT procedures, practice common tasks, and refine their fault-detection skills before the DVSA observation. The day is structured to provide realistic practice, helping trainees feel confident and prepared.

  • 3-Hour Demo Slot: For those looking for more focused practice, a 3-hour slot is available to conduct a demo test in our VTS station. During this time, a mentor will act as an MOT assistant to support the trainee, ensuring they are well-prepared for their DVSA observation.

Our facility also offers specialist fault-finding homework on the MTS system, designed to enhance participants’ understanding of common issues and help them refine their skills before the observation.

  • Day 1: Introduction to MOT compliance standards, health and safety protocols, and the legal obligations of running a VTS.   • Day 2: Focus on the operational side of VTS management.
